Ten. Although I remember there wasn't any internal conflict/drama (none of that "omg my parents lied to me!" sort of thing) when I found out so I had probably copped-on unconciously before that.

Messing of course! I think I was ten. Remember it was my primary school teacher who broke the news to my class...she was a heartless wagon tho!!! Christmas was never the same again!

The subject of Santa came up on the CT Forum tonight, this is my honest opinion on the guy.

Santa is in fact the "Devils Christ". St "Nick" the "old nick", rearrange "Santa" and you will get "Satan" :eek:

A child who is taught about Santa while growing up, one day comes to the shocking revelation that it was all a dirty lie. This sets a disturbing precedent in the child's mind. I believe that deliberately deceiving a child about Santa just prepares them for a life of doubt and suspicion.

Santa is a great impersonator of God, He knows EVERYTHING that goes on in a childs mind whether they have been behaving good or bad, Santa is also OMNIPRESENT, IE he can be in millions of places at the same time.

I also believe Santa is a PEDOPHILE and a PERVERT and I certainly would NEVER let any of my kids near him. :eek:

I found out in third class. I came into school the day after the christmas holidays ended and went upto a girl in my class and said 'What did Santa et you for Christmas?' She looked at me from an angle and replied 'You know Santa is not real!?' I was heartbroken but replied 'Oh yeah, I know!'

I silently walked away in despair......

My childhood ended that day

My friend next door wanted a bike but her mum told her Santa didn't have enough room on the sleigh.

I confronted my parents about it, I kind of knew already. My parents told me straight out. When my fears were confirmed, I was kind of sad.
