    I cannot believe it -just NOW- bloody Christmas eve. Anyone in Mullingar wants to lend me one for a week :(

    unplug it for 20 mins and see if it comes back to life

    I did - I unplugged it for 45 mins. It was working ok this afternoon, then I turned it off.Switched it back on and all I got was a grey screen. Off for 45 mins and it says no signal is being received.

    Sorry to hear that, either theres a problem with your dish/cable/f connector or more likely the tuner in your box is faulty.

    did you try to force a update, sometimes works
    turn off at mains, press backup button hold onto it for 15 seconds after turning on at mains
