Yes, but only if you watch the COI Service and not the Catholic one! Better looking people and far better choir!

Im not a huge fan of the whole mass thing but my moml drags me there every Christmas. Glad I got it out of the way there earlier on. Watching mass on tv is just lazy mans mass which there is absolutely no problem with.l

I refused to go with my family today and I refused last year too. If God does exist, they aren't fooling Him by going once a year.

Know people who only go to mass on Christmas day as well and always wondered why they bother then and not the rest of the year.

Xmas mass is as boring as watching paint dry, and they always pick the most God boring priests, who so obviously want to get out of there.

Go to mass, and bring the house down with caroling, it's part of the whole season!

The answer is yes only if you feel that watching a tv programme showing people eating is the same as you eating a dinner!
    Otherwise not the same!

Mass on RTE 1 and BBC 1, people spoilt for choice

You could be drinking beer and fondling yourself while watching.

So yeah it's pretty much the exact same, it counts.

As your penance, say one Hail Mary and neck a bottle of communion wine and repeat until you don't feel guilty any more.

Mass happens every week, xmas comes just once a year. Don't waste it.

What do you mean by the real thing? You would be lacking the full atmosphere of the place, and miss out on any social aspect of the mass.

But if you're talking about spiritual matters, then it makes no difference whether you go or not for real. Only if you follow Jesus Christ can you know him and thus be saved.

If you're going to go, do it properly and go. If not, stay at home and **** off to some soft port. At least you're being honest.

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

if you really cant be ar$ed going to mass you could do what i pretty much do every year!! Say your off to mass ( puts you in the good books!! ), stop in at the church, pick up a leaflet and leave. Go for a walk or something ( I have a park next to my church so its all good!) then time it. If its 11am mass, should be finished by 11.40, then head home. When you walk back into the house, you will look like golden girl / boy! Bingo!!:D
