SKY boxes going to standby

    I have 2 sky boxes which recently (last couple of weeks) have been going to standby 2 or 3 times a day. I have now turned the auto power save to off (option 5 under services) As the boxes are a few years old why did this only start now? Has anyone else seen this problem?

    The same happened my sky box.

    One of the settings -Auto Standby - Was turned on somehow. Have no idea how.

    Turned it to off and its fine.

    Is this feature not useful if you manually record and want the box to switch to the Channel you're recording from e.g. when you're out.

    the auto for programms comin on is useful. but auto stby is the box powering off and i don't want that 2 or 3 times a day

    So that is why my Sky Box suddenly switched it self off for the past few weeks.
