    I particularly love the way the sign behind Tiny says 'use low gears' (third pic)- considering he loves mashing this seems appropriate!

    I was using a pretty low gear there though :)

    Not such a fan of my big fat arse in the second one, on top of Alpe D'Huez though :)

    thanks for these (i thought they were lost? no?).

    whenever i feel that the marmotte might be just too much i'll look at the pics from the oct trip and remember that it is all completely worth it.

    Nope, we're just dead 'ard!

    It wasn't a touring holiday -we stayed in a chalet in Bourg D'Oisans, and there's enough climbs around there to be done that we could venture out each day

    Great photos there emty, I had completely forgotten it was snowing on that descent. I will have to get a selection of my ones together and run them by the censors (you know who you are :D) over the Christmas break.
