    Hi there,

My girlfriend's uncle is looking for a pair of Rossignol Soft Light 3 ski boots in size Mondo 30.5 which (UK size 12 - Euro size 47).

He needs a pair of soft boots due to an operation which involved skin grafting. As a result of this operation he can no longer wear conventional "hard" boots.

Do any of you know where I can find these boots in Ireland, the UK or mainland Europe? I found a pair on eBay.co.uk but the auction ends in 3 days and I'm not sure if I'll be sitting in front of my computer when it ends...

Thank you in advance for all your help! :)

I wasn't even aware that such a boot existed. Is it that they have a lot more padding, less weight and open up easier to get on?

A quick look on the Rossi site didn't even show that model though, but I suspect that your best bet would be getting somewhere like The Great Outdoors or a Snow and Rock to order them in for you as they are unlikely to have them in stock normally.

    Thank you robinph!

He needs these boots as they are far more comfortable than the normal "hard top" boots and they were recommended to him by a friend. His foot is pretty mangled in fairness but he loves skiing and he's hoping these boots will be the perfect solution!

Thank you for your advice anyway. I will get in touch with a few stores tomorrow to see if they can order such boots from their supplier! ;)

My mom has a pair of Salomon boots that look similar to these.

    They're entry level ski boots.

They're actually for sale here: http://www.scansports.co.uk/product/1271/Mens_Salomon_Verse_AF_Ski_Boot_in_Charcoal

You can also probably buy a pair of those Rossi boots in a ski shop in France second hand as ex rentals. I've seen them or similar boots to them for rent for beginners.
