Probs with Xpand!... not all notes playing back

    Hi folks,

I've recorded some midi using an Xpand patch played with an Axiom 25 into my Digi 003 rack (I'm using Pro Tools 7.4.2)

... when I recorded the track, everything was fine - I could hear all the notes as I played them... but for some reason, whenever I play the track back, only some of the notes are audible. It seems to be the same group of notes that are missing... I can see them on the midi track, but there's no audio for those specific notes. Although I'm a newbie to PT (and especially midi) I have been able to successfully record midi stuff in the past, so I’m confused.

Also, if I solo the midi track, I can still hear the vox & lead guitar playing back too. No doubt I'm missing something very obvious here, but I can't see the wood for the trees at the minute.

Any guidance is much appreciated - thanks!

ive found this happening on m-powered. usually the first note in the sequence. no matter what i do it doesnt play even though its on the piano roll. i usually just delete it and draw it in and everything is fine.

    gotta love pro-tools midi :(

I'm running LE, not M-powered... not sure if that makes a difference?

The lads on the Digi User Forum didn't seem to know what was causing it. I'll try loading up a different patch & see if that makes a difference.
