Made by making samples using computer algorithms, then heavily processing them with 'Reason'. Have a look at the last 2, in terms of experementality. What you think?

I think they're interesting, but I'm not sure exactly what it is that you are trying to achieve with them. In terms of 'experimentality', I like the idea of using algorithms in sound generation (it's something I've been working on myself), but the processing kind of hides any 'generative aesthetic' if you get me?

In terms of an artpiece, I think played loud in a darkened room they would be great as a sound installation - it sounds like a war zone recorded and slowed down.

    How did you make it?

Yeah I think I get yea, the end product would have sounded pretty much the same regardless of original sample. (In a way)

Twas made using about 64 sinusoids all oscillating with unique frequency modulation etc in the Matlab programming environment. Then processing on Reason and Sound-forge, speeding up, adding distortion then slowing down etc..

I'd not class is as music as such, just interesting to listen to. Tryna see can I go anywhere new with sound egineering. If so, I'll try and make music from it.

I'd try Max/Msp or Csound or something more suited to music than Matlab being honest. I've seen a few synths for Matlab before but they're never that great. I just don't think its suited for it.

I'd find that interesting. Were they like GUIs using simlink?

I never bothered with c-sound. I was trying to be 'original' and probably just reinvented the wheel in a less computationally efficient way. :).

I wrote a function hierarchy for the generation of sound. Do you know of any useful resources on c-sound?
