I'm pretty sure you can't, I don't know any email provider who gives out personal details

you could try writing to google corporate to get that information but their privacy policy ensures that you would need a legal precedent or warrant in order to even be considered.

I presume this is because you want the email address yourself?

Why not fire off an email to that address asking the person to sell it you you, or whatever...

to check if its live u could just send an email
i try every few years to see if samhail@gmail.com has been free'd up
