Want to set up my own religion

Hi guys, I want to set up my own religion for the hell of it (pardon the pun) Does anyone know exactly what things you have to do to be formally recognised as a religion? So far, I think you have to be a non-tax deductable charity, and you have to worship a deity, aswell as set out your belief system. Anything else?

1 -Give yourself a trippy name like "Supreme Master"
2 -Come up with some sort of general ideology
3 - Set up a TV channel and broadcast in 13 languages.
