A new RTE station that repeats the shows that will might never be released on DVD (Roddy Doyle's "Family", Bachelors Walk, Soupy Norman, Prosperity, Love Is The Drug, Pure Mule etc. etc.). I'm sick of waiting on RTE to release any of their back catalogue...

Replace the soft core porn channels with hard core ones.

And there's definitely not enough religious channels.

    Maybe BBC +3, +4, +5, +6, +7, +8, +9, +10 too.

God no, they don't actually give you a choice.

I would like to see a new Irish Channel not piggy backing on the UK channels and one that would take on both RTE and TV3. Perhaps call it TG4Berla.

Something different I am sick of the lack of imagination coming from TV at the moment. Everywhere not just here.

    A proper Classic Rock channel

BBC Norn Iron for only badly made provincial tat, so we can watch proper BBC 1/2 in peace

a channel similar to vh1 for uk,ireland that shows 80s,90s , music videos, top of the pops ,rock/pop documentarys.PROGRAMS like i love the 90s ,with presenters who were teens in the 90s,not some 20year old kid from big brother, dont show any videos from after 2006.SOMETHING like bbc radio 2 ,ie with presenters that actually know something about music.RADIO 2 is very popular cos it plays good music ,its not trying to be super cool and its play list is more than 100 songs.THE only rule is it cant play any song from the current charts ,it can play rock/pop reggae whatever.

    one with:

    No soap opera's
    No reality muck
    No celb reality muck
No arnt we media types great
No 100 best "some muck" shows

& Im afraid no more Talk Shows

Few good comedies, few decent docs, proper news
    and a few good films
Ooh and when given a choice between an old classic and a poor remake they have to show the old classic!

    not much to ask for?

By right, we should have these on an On Demand service via the RTE website.
