Burning to DVD?

    Hi I have an avi movie on my computer...just wondering if it would look any way decent on a dvd to be watched on a normal tv?

    What would be the easiest way to burn it to a dvd?
    Or what would be the best file format to burn for playback?

    i use nero to convert it to dvd or convertxtodvd although lately im just putting the avi on my phone and connecting it to my xbox and just watch it from that

    looks perfect. It depends on the quality of the file ya download in the first place.
