Just bought a MacBook Pro so the first order of business is to get myself a usb hub due to the ridiculous number of usb ports on this thing (2).
Also need a firewire 800 cable for my video cam.

Is there anywhere that does these for cheap in Dublin?
Need to get it tomorrow or I could be in trouble over Xmas for video capturing.

    Cheers.

    Thanks for the reply.

I've heard of them before, but their place is a bit out of the way for me.
Think I'll take a stroll around Grafton street and the other main shopping streets today to see if there are any shops around.

Amazon or eBay-BuyItNow are typically hard to beat on price of bin-items like cables and hubs.

Euro2 Stores sell 4 port usb hubs for 2 euro. Have one here and it works fine.

These are probably usb 1.1 which is fine for mice / keyboards and other low speed devices , not much use for video , but would free up the other usb port , also handy to hang off a faster usb 2.0 hub

I was only able to get to the places around Grafton street.
    Seems it's near impossible to get a 4pin - 9pin firewire 800 cable.

Only place I've found one in stock is on Komplett.
They charge 12.55€ for shipping 1 f*cking cable!
