Hey,

I read here that at least the Chorus DVR box software can get updated automatically:

My specific issue is that I have a standard UPC box (no DVR). Got it installed a few weeks ago. When I pressed the "Guide" button I remember it showed a listing of all my channels and what's on now and next. But now pressing the button doesn't show anything. I've tried the Guide button both on the machine and the remote. Any ideas?

This happened our box a few weeks ago too.

We had to reset the box to factory settings, although you need a PIN number when it restarts to get everything set up again. There's probably a simpler way of fixing it.

Hmm, I wonder what happened. I remember the technician said the PIN out loud, it was something simple like 0000, but I don't remember for sure so don't want to try without knowing.

Oh, wait, you mean it asks for a PIN before you can reset it? If that's the case I could try a couple of different combinations.

Guide is back after resetting.

PIN was 0000 and my limerick activation code was 201. Activation code varies depending on where you're located.

My Mothers UPC box has the same problem. What's the code for Waterford?
