What is it with you people and 58cm.A 54 is just as good.Just take your shoes and socks off and forget about this Euro fad :D

EDIT: I posted as quick as I could just to get in first. Having looked at the pics is it actually salvageable? I would like to build a bike up someday.

well tiny had set the standard at €50 but since I goot seriously mugged by a large jolly man in a red suit and white beard any *ahem* "contribution" would be greatly appreciated. I mean just look atthe bar tape.Worthy of some sheckles alone for that

    Hmm...€25?

Is there any damage to the frame or is it just a few patches of rust? Is that seatpost wedged (as in stuck)? Sorry for the 20 questions, just trying to get an idea of whether I could make this into a proper fixie :)

In all honesty whoever wants this will need to be fairly handy with tools and will more than likely need some serious penetrating fluid.NOT WD40.Maybe Diesel.
It has been sitting in my garage and then attic for at least 10 yrs.Just being honest with ya's.

Eye's wide open and all that

    Ask away Dirk.
Just Rust on the frame. No damage.
I would say the seatpost is stuck.
Bottom Bracket is free and quiet (spinning by hand only) as is the headset.

I suppose its important to ask where you are based :)

I can collect from Dublin, but a trip to Cork or similar might rule me out!

Tis a nice frame, but not being a pro at bike building I would have to limit my risk and leave my offer of €25 stand, otherwise it may turn into an expensive endeavour for me.

    :D

I will stick to my guns, I unfortunately have to contend with parents who are already not happy with my clogging of the garage with bikes.

In fact, I think I will have to clean said garage to appease my folks if I bring this home

Anyways, see what other offers you get, if you really want to get rid of it I will pick it up later.
