    Slovenian broadband penetration has increased by 1.8 percent during the third quarter of this year to 58 percent, according to the latest report by the Agency for Post and Telecommunications (APEK). Telekom Slovenije increased its share of the broadband market by 0.3 percentage points to 48.5 percent. T-2 grew by 0.3 percent to 17.9 percent, Amis won 0.2 percent to 9.2 percent and cable network operator Telemach lost 0.2 percent to reach 7.9 percent. DSL is still the dominant technology with 67.7 percent, followed by cable with 22.6 percent, while FTTH tripled in twelve months to 9.3 percent. On the mobile market, Mobitel's share shrank 1.4 percentage points to 60.6 percent, while that of Simobil increased by 0.5 points to 27.3 percent. Debitel (5%) saw its share decline, while Izimobil remained level at 2.5 percent and Tusmobil, gained a whole percentage point over the previous quarter to 4.4 percent.
