    Brought my 40d into a nightclub on friday night, foolish thing to do! Got beer splashed on it, knocked around a bit, people poking at it. But it was great craic and my camera survived, I'd recommend it! Here's a few from the night. Merry Xmas :-D

    really good love the way you have all the streaming lights but the people are really sharp.

    flash at the end of the exposure and not at the start?

    Lads, when the ladies get a bit o drink in them it's non stop poses for the camera.

    Sheesh, you're correct I used 2nd curtain sync on the flash. So the exposure would be around 1/10 to 1sec to soak up all the lights and then the flash was fired. And yes, the leopardskin girl.... I suppose you'd have a few ides for this pic too?

    whats the club< i think i was there many years ago, they had a drink called a 'club special'? a pint glass with smirnoff ice, a shot of vodka, topped off with bud or something??

    i've done 'out and abouts' like that for about year and i would never bring a camera into a nitclub for the reasons of people poking at it and afraid of people spilling drink on it... your a brave man!:)

    Well I'm not sure if I'd bring my camera to a club on a regular saturday night, but this was a fancy dress event (called the History of Disco), dance music from 70s up to 2008 with fake snow & foam. And I knew the DJs so I could store my stuff with their equipment. So everybody was on a happy buzz. The club is in Carrick-on-suir.
