    I think that his old one (the one seen on paramount last night) is actually better than his new one. But thats just imo

    watching the dvd now, and he speaks irish and he says oh we must translate that for the dvd, but the dvd subs just says [speaks irish]

    Same thing on The Wind That Shakes The Barley DVD on all of the Irish-speaking bits.

    I guess both are DVDs produced and released (and therefore subtitled by) English companies, so they wouldn't have Irish speakers on hand to translate. They could at least go to that effort though.
