the song isnt up to the standard theyve set themselves.

listen to contractor in comparison to any of the other songs on the myspace player, even the mix is worse, not to mention the vocals.

quite disappointing, Im quite a big fan like, I just hope the rest of the album isnt as mindless as this.

T'was fairly bad; Sacrament. As the Palaces Burn is their greatest achievement, as well as being the beginning of their worsening. This new song, while hardly fantastic, sounds far better than anything off the last offering. I'll definitely listen to it. They'll be great live too.

id go for ashes of the wake over as the palaces burn, but i definitely agree with you about Sacrament. That was poor. haha

As far as live shows/performance goes though, they are probably the best in the world.

Iv listened to it a few times now. Really disappointed with Randy.

Is it just my ****e speakers or is the sound quality fairly bad? I don't really like the riffs either. I hope they don't play much of their newer stuff when they come to Dublin in February.

When a vocalists says 'Trick or Treat', within some context of a song, it can't mean very much. Seems like he's not exploring his abilities anymore.

What are ye guys on about, its a return to form for LOG in my opinion. Sacrament was overproduced, overpolished commercialised metal and this is bringing it right back to the days of New American Gospel. I was delighted with the new song, very simplistic riffage in comparison to a lot of there other stuff. Think of it as streamlining, which was DEFFINATLY needed after sacrament.

As for the mix, I doubt its the final mix and I think it sounds great. Glad to head some guitar TONE again :).

And just as everyone else has stated, Palaces FTW!!

    All sold out, sorry.

Not sure about the song yet......Will take a few more listens I think. Though unlike a lot of people it seems, I actually liked Sacrament (thought the "Walk With Me In Hell" DVD was overproduced though with its added sound effects). Time will tell but the gig should certainly be interesting (especially after seeing the venue and how small it is!)

    🤪
