Poker Tracker or Hold'em Manager?

I've decided to get back into online cash games having played MTT's for the past couple of years.
I dabbled with Poker Tracker years ago but never enough to get any real use from it or understand it.

I've searched the archives and found this thread Poker Tracker or Hold'em manager?

It seems the versions at that time were new to the market, have either of these programs won out since?

What setup is best? (I don't know where gametime+ or HUD, etc, fit in)

I think holdem manager is far superior and I think this is generally accepted as true. btw it has an inbuilt hud

I've used PokerSpy, PT2, PT3 and HM all over the last few years. The best by far is HM. The built in HUD is a godsend. You get a lot more in depth analysis than PT3. Also it's alot less buggy too.

    Another vote for HM.

I use PT for Omaha and can't wait for HM to integrate Omaha support (hopefully Q1 2009)

wow, are they working on that? Will it be a completely new product?

I can't find the link offhand, but he said a few weeks ago that it would be about 3 months and it would be an extra module for HM, not a seperate program. I'll have a look for the link when I wake up properly.

    Yeah

I had won some free software and was going to pick PokerTracker when I decided to ask a large group of players which software they would choose from the list I could pick from.

I was surprised when most picked Holdem Manager

I keep up to date on these things - but products catch up fast.
