    Hi,
Is it possible to change as above. Possibly getting a Campag Record bike but want to use my Easton Shimano wheels on it. 'The Guy" dealer, reckons I can change the freehub over to Campag.

Yup that's the way to go, just change over the freehub and you should be sorted - it's a half an hour job all in all.

Oh an welcome to the world of campag - you won't go back!

You may not even have to change the hub at all. There's precious little difference in 10 speed spacing between Shimano and Campagnolo. I've certainly done it the other way around, i.e. running Campag hubs and cassette with Shimano and had no problems.

I'll probably just buy the frame and get it built up over here.
I fancy the DA 7900 brakes with concealed cables......and obviously all the other DA kit.

Got my bike today. Campag Record. Seems to run my Shimano 10 speed rear wheel cassette perfectly for some reason. Ordered a Campag freehub to replace my Shimano as part of the bike deal anyway.
    Interesting all the same.

    16.5 lbs.

What's the bike? And did you get the new Record, i.e. 11 speed?

Does weighing the new bike with a fishing scales count?

Phil Deeker put his to good use when doing his 300 cols in 30 days challenge (same bike designer / new company).
His was a Titanium frame Omega (model ‘Enigma) + carbon Look forks; Campag Chorus chainset (50/36 in front, 12/25 behind); Fulcrum Racing Zero wheels with Continental GP 4000 tyres

I'm looking forward to seeing it. Post a picture on boards. Its making my Setavento titanium at 18.6 pounds seem portly.

Thanks for the private viewing. Its a beautiful bike, gorgeous frame with a broad downtube. Plenty of carbon (seatpost, cranks, derailleur) for a titanium bike. Nice wide hand rests on the hoods.
