Gfx card to play blu-ray

Just put a blu-ray drive (LG - HL-DT-ST BD-RE GBW-H20L) into my system but I think my graphics card is not capable of playing blu-ray dvds. Thinking of buying THIS. Wondering woud this be enough to playback blu-ray movies? current system specs: Dell Optiplex 745 Intel Core2 CPU 6300 @ 1.86GHz 1 gig RAM NVIDIA GeForce 6800…

i think you need a hdcp compliant monitor or hdtv with hdmi to play a blueray disk anyway,at full resolution,otherwise it,will play at 720p resolution, google info blue ray hdcp monitor uk.

Ati 3450 passive , about 25 euros , will play 1080p all day no problems .
