    I got one a few months ago in the carphone warehouse for free!You have to sign a 12 month contract though!

    Don't want to get it on a 12 month trial, would prefer to get it for a month to test out the coverage in my area (live in West Clare).

    You have i think 14 days to bring it back if you have no coverage but after that your stuck with it!

    The nearest 02 3G mast I can see near you is down in knockerry, there's another one half way between kilmhil and doonbeg nearly directly under Cree...
    are you anywhere near those places? Any mountains in the way...

    :( Looks like you'll only get gprs from 02 down there, better than dial up but still bad....3 have no coverage down there either....have you tried vodafone have they an 3G mast down there...?

    probably about 200k , do you know anyone with a 3G phone, get them to do a network search in your house and see does anything pop up...3,02 or voda...you might get lucky...

    200Kbps+ is EDGE. GPRS is only 40K to 70K, similar to good dialup and worse than ISDN.
