I know its early yet, but is anybody here contemplating going to next years British Open in Turnberry?? I was checking on the net yesterday and tickets are on sale at the mo, also, flights to glasgow for that weekend are roughly 100EUR return.

Has anybody any experience of the area surrounding Turnberry? Is there much accomodation/nightlife/craic/general divilment;) in the place??
I'd love to make the trip, doubt we'll ever again see an Irishman going for a hat-trick of opens....................
