Thinking of getting these, anyone any experiences with them?

Did you get one in the end?

I'm thinking of buying 2 NanoKontrols, for live use.

    55 buckaroos out in XMusic.

Fairly straight forward to use. Download the KORG MIDI/USB driver off the website, then it's plug and play.

The NANOkey is the one I had the most use of. Keys are shyte but beats punching in notes using the mouse on the Bus. It also has CC mode so you can transmit control change data.

The NANOpad looks interesting but I haven't had much fun with the pads on Korgs larger series of MIDI controllers. Again, Akai, IMHO, have the best pads you can get, no-one else even comes close. It's got four "scenes" so you can have four banks of eight pads. The X/Y is a nice idea but I fail to see it working intuitively.

The NANOKontrol is the final one. I think it's a great idea. PAN, FADERS, mute, solo, and transport controls. Again, it has four scenes so that's four banks of eight faders. Really handy for mixing quickly on the move ONCE you master how to use it.

Intuitive ideas from Korg as usual but not exactly a classic or well built product, they are quite flimsy!

Great little post there jim, havnt gotten them yet but am ordering them next month, im getting the 3 of them simply for the fact that i am on the move all the time and want them for the train etc so i can make mobile mixes!

Was looking about ordering them over then net but 55 sounds good from x music, is that for the nanokey or each one do you know?

    I ordered 2 NanoKontrols tonight.
Looking forward to setting up a nice little Ableton template.

I was very tempted by the black ones but I think the blue and white ones will be a bit easier to see in low light.

I'll have to figure out a tidy way of marking the knobs.
