    Link http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/5686917/Trail/searchtext%3EPS3.htm seems like a good price and its the 40GB model, its €330 in the republic whereas it costs €399 for the 80GB model.hope it helps someone looking to buy at last minute :) EDIT: argos also have a sale on some ps3 games such as Littlebigplanet for €40 and prince of persia for €30 which are good prices for bricks and mortar

    Errr- are HMV and Zavii in trouble and about to fold? Thats about the only thing that could explain those prices.......

    zavii are suppose to be in trouble over woolworths collapse because apparently they owed it money so i suppose thats the reason for its competitive prices

    How so? Now they have a loan extension. If Woolworths owed them money they'd have a problem. It's probably because they want cash on the books not stock for years end.

    I bought a PS3 80 GB bundled with two not so good games for £287 this week in ToysRus up North.
