Is this likely to happen? It appears the uk government are allowing sterling to devalue compared to the euro to boost trade etc etc and it will as they are now super competitive. But seeing as they are buying many of the new cars from euro countries, they will either cost more to buy in the uk or the importers or manufacturers will have to take a big hit. They would probably take a hit on them for a while but over time if sterling stayed as it is now, something would have to give.

I can't see them increasing, they will need to take a hit as sales are down and 2nd hand cars are getting cheaper all the time as people panic sell them.

In this country they will likely increase the cost of the few being sold as to compensate, "idiot school of economics".
