    Used to work in the FF department for a big airline. I think they're a great idea if you really are a frequent flyer, as in 4+ long haul or 8+ short-haul flights with the same airline per year (some airlines are in good alliances so it can be with different airlines and still count).

    However if you only fly once or twice within Europe there's not that much point - it would take you years to work up to any decent reward like a free flight. I think some of them do have alternative rewards like nights in a hotel or activities in your destination, but let's face it, it's the free flights that we all want!

    In short, if you're away a lot and have a preferred airline then it's definitely worth signing up. If not, then you can sign up but don't expect too much!

    Yup, lots of em... 7 airline cards and 5 hotel chain cards.
    Air miles and room upgrades love em :D
