I always likles the Snowman and just read in a poll that it was voted number 1 kids Christmas film.

I don't really rate it as a kids film to be honest.
It was quite dark and haunting and gloomy throughout.
Sad at the end of course, but deep and thoughtful for the most part.
    Not kids stuff!

I just think adults would be more suited to it. I know I loved it

    Any thoughts?

Any other greats to wait for?

    Rocky 15

It starts off when Rocky using all his strenght, manages to pull himself out of his wheelchair, uses his walking stick to hook around the ropes and manages to pull himself (theres no one else willing to do it at his age) into the ring!
Shock horror, there in the ring to face him is his opponent.

    ...Its Mary Harney.

Rocky turns and runs screaming for the exit in his chair rapid again.
The realisation that if he gets injured, he's screwed or if he get injured and is carted off to a hospital run by Harney, scares him ten times as much...

    Rocky 15 ends...

LOL They are premiers ...if you've been living under a rock for the last ten years!
    (It's RTE, 'nuff said.)

I want to see "White Christmas" in the afternoon.

It's never appropriate to mock Rocky. The man is an institution. He beat Russia into peace for fcuks sake........At Christmas!!

    LOL

One is not mocking Rocky but prising his sense to run away from something you can't beat. A wrestle uniformed strapping Harney! :D

O' there's a Christmas horror film for the making!

Well somebody fucked the place anyway.

OP, if you want dark semi-festive movies, try Watership Down for size. Kids were made of sterner stuff back in '78.

An excellent choice. Watch out for the original Ernie and Bert.
