Hi guys , last week the brother bought a new ATI 4780 512 mb gfx card.
As i suspected his 400 w psu wouldnt take the job we got a new Seasonic X900 psu.

Ive just tried to install the psu but the comp will not boot up.
The fans move for a second then it just powers down.
Ive tried the usual checks, ie all connections are spot on.

The rest of his spec is Intel dual core E6400 2.3gh
    2 gig ram
    MSI P965 Neo-F socket 775 motherboard.

Im totally baffled with this lads, could the psu be faulty or could any of the components above be incompatable?

If just put back in the old North Q 400 w psu and his nvidia card back in and all is working fine.

Great this is also happening to me!!!
Did i get your returned PSU ?
Just spent hours on hours trying to fix it.
Fans spins up but not even for a second and then turns off. I know its the PSU as i just took out an old one to put this one into my machine.

    What was the test ?
Did you return it to complete ?
