Using Vodafone K3520 Usb Stick and it crashes the pc. When the application opens (mobileconnect.exe) the winlogon process shoots up to 99%. NO virus on pc and have installed latest drivers. Has anyone seen this before??

think you need .net ( dot net) framework 2 installed which is not in 2000 sp4 or xp sp2

seen something like this before. you may have some sw on your PC that's trying to access the dongle.

when you plug in those dongles they are first seen as a virtual Cd-rom drive - so my question to you is do you have any sw on your pc that automatically tries to crack copyright on any CD/DVD that you put in?

If you do disable it and try again.

    it may work...
