UPC DVR resetting itself

    Posting this in case it happens to someone else. Last night when I switched off my UPC DVR it went into init mode and had a screen looking for a three digit code. Luckily someone had posted the code for Dublin elsewhere (131) and I was able to get it back working in about two minutes.

    Arrived home to find DVR in init mode. After 20 mins waiting for a response from customer service I tried browsing to see if this was a common problem and came across your post. Fixed in 2 minutes - Thanks a million.

    Do you know if you got a firmware upgrade? Menu -> Settings -> Diagnostics, what is the software version? :)

    It was most likely a software upgrade happened on my one too. Lash in the code away she searches and back to life my dvr became handy enough tbh
