forgot about the horse.. though it is aimed more towards the high rollers than normal championship events.. 10k buy in or whatever

I don't think prizepool is a factor in deciding which event is the biggest, but the 5 above are there abouts the biggest, and are the 5 that people would like to win the most imo (money aside)

'Top' is very vague.

The $10k PL Omaha WSOP event is held in very, very high regard by the well known pros, from what they say.

imho Irish Open should be way up on the list... ... Oldest tournament in Europe and really has a lot of prestige attached to it.

For prestige and sheer fun, definitely. Great atmosphere and great players at the Open. I usually go along to spectate and talk **** with the players in the bar For prizepool? Not even close.

Little bit rose-tinted?
It holds far more prestige in these parts than elsewhere, I doubt it would rank highly for many (if any) of the well known pros who aren't European.
