What program are you using?

Have you tried vlc? www.videolan.org

I dont have a clue tbh, and i cant dl that because I'm on the home comp - my laptop wont connect to the broadband here - is there any way i can fix this prob without going onlione? Say converting it to a different file format (which incidentally, i dont know how to do)

Is it all avi files or just some avi files? Avi is just a wrapper for a range of formats, all of which require their own codec to play (it just so happens that the most common codecs tend to be pre-installed)
