if we were to bring in draconian punishments for our criminals would it make a difference?

im talking about stocks in town centres , chain gangs -make them work for the betterment of the community, maybe even giving them lashes.

i believe that we are too easy on our criminals and that they should forgo any rights they have once they are convicted.

proper long sentences for serious crime and community service for the less serious.

Sure there'd be no politicians left if we did that.

Prisoners should be isolated and studied so it can be determined what nutrients they contain that can be extracted for our own personal use.

I hear there's not much crime in Turkey, cause of their lack of human rights. Either that or the criminals are smart as ****

We should modernise punishment rather than use ancient brutal measures. Empower each other to carry out the law as you see fit. Implement a series of yellow and red cards viewable to others. Bannings from discussing certain topics from time to time. Make payment a requirement for access to sex and sexuality in a moderated manner. That kind of thing.

Ooooooh. It'd be a field day for pickpockets. I'd have to vote no. I am not a fan of pickpockets. They deserve the stocks.

There just doesnt seem to be a deterrent at the moment for criminals, they are given too many chances and maybe a sharp shock would be the answer.
