Rundll32.exe problems

    Sometimes when I'm using my computer rundll32.exe starts using up to 2GB of memory and causes the computer to freeze. How do i stop this?

    what OS ?

    get procexp from microsofts site , turn on command line in column views to find out where the starter app is
