how can i get the dole?

    hi,im 22 and worked for my uncle since i left school about 6 years ago but always got paid in cash so i never paid tax but now we have no work and i dont know what to say so i can get the dole any help?

    you were'nt paying tax therefore you were'nt paying any prsi contributions which means you wont get any dole im afraid.how come your uncle never put you on his books?

    You're entitled to nothing, zero, zilch.
    You and your uncle have been breaking the law by not declaring your earnings.

    The whole point of paying tax and PRSI is to give yourself a safety net of having the dole when out of work. You have learnt this lesson the hard way.
