Ideas for 3 - 4 week trip Feb/Mar 2009

Hi all, I've got 3 or 4 weeks holidays coming up in in late February next year. I may be alone or I may have a mate if he can get the time off. Budget will be kind of limited i.e. backpack with the odd hotel here and there, but I won't be totally slumming it either. I want to go somewhere with maybe a week of traveling around / sightseeing and 2 weeks plus lying on a beach, close to a bar, and soaking up some rays and alcohol. Don't normally do sun hols but I haven't had any sun for 2 years and I've been flat out this past year, so need to chill big time.

I've been to Oz for 6 weeks before and done the east coast. I've also done Thailand i.e. Bangkok, Chiang Mai, and Ko Chang. What I've been thinking of so far:

- Bali / Gilli islands
- Cambodia / Sihanoukville
- Somewhere in India - heard there are beach areas in the south
- Mexico - Tulum in particular

So if anyone has experience of any of the above I'd love to get some feedback. Equally if anyone has suggestions for anywhere else worth checking out for a holiday like this then I'm all ears.....
