    Hello,

Just wondering what happens if my old MAC dies and I have to get a replacement. Can I transfer my bought programs, Logic Studio, Photoshop, to the new MAC or do I have to buy these programs again?

I still have the original discs.

    Thanks.

Of course you can - as long as you have the license, you can use it. Many programs these days don't even require you to have the physical discs anymore, you can just download them again and use your license key/file. Most license agreements would have a clause against using the same license on more than one Macs at a time, but if your old machine died, then using them on a new one is no problem. In some cases, you may need to de-authorize a machine (which you can't do if the old one died), but you can contact the relevant vendor to help you out with any such cases. If you own a legal license for the software, it's yours to use on whatever Mac you may have (but usually only one at a time).

Thanks J-Bik, that's good to hear.
