Broken Ipod

    Hello all

My old 30GB Ipod video is crocked. Well, sound is only coming from the left side of the headphones. It's not the headphones because I tried other headphones etc. So I called Apple to fix it but it turns out I'm out of warranty so I need to bring it somewhere to get it fixed. Anyone know of an Apple store or anywhere that could fix this for me in Cork? Listening to one sided music is horrible!

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Hope everyone has a good christmas.

    Regards

It doesn't matter about the warranty. Profided it's a manufacturer defect (not something you've caused yourself) then your statutory rights specify that goods must be of merchantable quality /edit: and so should last a reasonable amount of time with respect to price.

I don't know where you'd get it fixed yourself. I doubt apple make parts as they'd rather people just buy new ipods than get them repaired.
