malaysia to australia??

    I have any where from 6 weeks to 3 months to go travelling this summer before I come back to start a "real job" so i wana make the most of wat i can without becoming to much in debt. I was thinkin of travelling to malaysia backpacking arpound a bit and then head to australia. Has any1 done this or have any advice??

    I did the following not too long ago:

    Malaysia: Kuala Lumpur and Malaysian Borneo (2 weeks)
    Indonesia: Bali, Lombok, Flores (1 month)
    Australia: (1 month)

    Using Air Asia and Jetstar the flights were reasonable enough.

    I didn't get to see any of mainland Malaysia though.

    Highly recommended.

    tanx i looked up airasia website and their prices seem resonable. Did u travel round oz much??
