this is my first post here so hi to all.........hows it goin

i thought you lot might be able to help me.
i'm looking for a pub in the dublin southside area to spend the day boozing in:)

what i need is a place with a big open fire that you can sit beside on a comfy couch or armchairs.... you know those ones with the wingbacks. a real proper pub not some shiny fake kip with pints for a tenner.
it'd be nice if they served food too but thatd be an added bonus.
basically i'm thinking something like jonny foxs but without the tourists and easier to get to.

    any suggestions welcome
    cheers
    andy
