Two recent rainbows I got:

I almost got the full rainbow in with my kit lens at 14mm:

So.....post up some photos that reminds us of Mother Nature !

This was taken out a hotel room window, in Manchester, on a Nokia N95, which was 18 months old and battered.

This was taken at Mahon Falls, somewhere near Waterford.

If we are doing Rainbows ... this was one taken in Holyhead a couple of years ago.

Stuck there for hours waiting for a ferry. May as well take out the camera & have a play.

I have a question. I get the difference between wildlife and nature (one's got animals/fauna as the main subject:p), but is there a difference between nature and landscape?

Is it to do with the absence of obvious man made interference?

More of a focus on plants?

More sky in landscapes, even?

Or is there really not much difference at all? On the whole, it's just a terminology thing and doesn't make a lot of difference. A good shot is still a good shot after all. Just interested in where people draw the imaginary line:).

Just to add a little more confusion: I know the thread title is 'Nature shots', I was kinda hoping for 'Mother Nature' shots, ie. rainbows, weather, lightning, waves, storms etc, but the thread just took off with animals and flowers etc, but I suppose all the pics were so good and colorful that.........well......lets roll with everything to do with Nature !
