poor fujifilm s5800 got a bad non intended to be drunken night out and now the shutter button is stuck in the af position.. :( anybody know a reputable shop around Dublin who can repair? or anywhere to repair? I would attempt myself but the cam is worth a lot to me so I'd rather let somebody who knows what they're doing look at it.
probably not much to you guys who have better cams.

Anyways it happened around early November and regretfully i've missed plenty of photo oppurtunities also coming up to xmas.

    All replies greatly appreciated!

    No-one's replied...

I think Camera Exchange is a reputable shop - though I'm not sure if they do repairs... maybe Gunn's on Wexford Street.

Oh - there's that camera repair place near Portobello - can't remember its name (similar to DHL or something like that...)

Though it will probably cost you a bit to get it looked at even (I remember I was quoted 50 euro to look at, before repair costs were calculated).

Must mean a lot to you if you've genderised it ;) (I just call mine the D40)

Is it ISS you mean. I think they only look after canon stuff but no harm in ringing them I suppose.
