    sup boards,

i was trying to upgrade my broadband from 3mb to 7.6mb!
they actually called me with the offer, i said yes!
it took them 8 days to do that!
and i had to email them 10 times to make sure they do something about it!

i cant be the only 1 being treated like this?!

I'm guessing it took them 8 days to upgrade you from 3mbit to 7.6mbit because it wasn't them who were doing the upgrading and actually Eircom (Digiweb resell Eircom DSL).

Welcome to hell m8, the 7.6mbit package is completely fcuked with its high pings due to high interleaving. You should have stayed on 3mbit which is fine. My ping to boards went from 15ms to 50ms after the upgrade. You should have posted here first and You would have been told this as its nationwide.

    dude, ur right!
my ping in speedtest was 50 now its 115!
well this is the only "reasonable" broaband available to me!
crossan charges me 1,000E for the installation, dont feel like doing that!
and the speed is dodgy there!

and the fact that there is a traffic limit is so @%#$%#$ that i cant get my head around that one!
most countries, well the lads from other countries with who i spoke to they never heard of traffic limit b4 coming to ireland!
and mocked our broadband speed :/
dont care about the speed that much, just the limit gets me thick!

i`d love to know, how does the system work!
i know somtn that eircom owns the rights to the landlines or somtn...
