Anyone any opinions on cllrs Peter Savage and Ken O Heiligh for abstaining from the vote to deny the kids of Dunleer a Playground.

They must have holes in there heads seen as there is a Local election next june.

I am in O Heilighs area god help him when he calls , if he does.

    Shame on you both.

How can two abstentions affect the vote. Were the other votes split?

Not exactly sure, in a council vote you need 19 votes to pass a decision , think there are 26 councillors 18 voted yes 2 abstained an six were not present.

PLease correct me if im wrong, but its something like that.
