    I understood the subtle social messages that movies like "White men can't jump" present. I like to think of the white people I am buying presents for not jumping.

    I've bought my parents tickets to both the Elton John and Rod Stewart concerts on in Thomond Park next year. Also got em flights to London for the new year. Got one sister an iPod. Got the other some speakers to play her iPod in.

    I've bought them things i like, like dvds i would be buying for myself anyways. I'll wrap them up and pass them on as gifts. And watch them whenever i get a chance.

    1 thing....my OH was looking for a game for the DS and mentioned it to me about 3 months ago. Seen loads on the shelves and kept putting it off. Decided to buy it last week and nowhere had it. Finally got it today and saved christmas.

    Well, I bought a bottle of wine for kris kindle.

    Aaaaand, i bought myself a battery grip, 2 spare batteries, a remote control and a new bag for my camera gear, all the while saving a lot of money had i bought them in the shop.

    Got my partner a new phone,heat straighteners,lost series 4 box set,pokemon ruby for DS and a nice bracelet.

    She shops for the rest of the family so Ive not got a clue what they have got for xmas as i leave that to her. She loves a good spend up got my bank statement the other day and its gone down by £900 so god knows what shes been buying.

    I watched wifey closely through out the year and anything she mentioned that she liked I made a mental note of so I would know what to get her for Christmas. I'm having a bit of difficulty wrapping the George Clooney and the Ferrari is taking up all the driveway but I know she'll be happy.
