got beaten by a van today,
cycling down d'olier st in the outside of the bus lane so to avoid being killed by all the buses pulling in. and a van decides to take a sharp left into the buslane obviously i was there also and i just when phoot off the side of the van as my abdomon took out his wing mirror like completly and it was one of those big ones with the metal brackets and two mirror bits, i didn't come off hence the pinball title i just changed direction really quickly when he hit me. he stopped and appologised i said don't worry i don't expect any more from moron drivers (under my breath or what i had left of it after i winded myself.)
    ****
later on as myself and another cyclist i know through commuting and meeting at traffic lights, were cycling down wainsford road (don't use the cycle lane full of crud and steps) a car came up behind us and started beeping, i pulled further out because this guy seemed like an idiot and was probably going to do something stupid, so eventually after the beeping he passes us and then pulls in tight to the curb with his tail out near the middle of the road and oncomming traffic forcing myself and my buddy to stop clamber over the curb onto the crap cyclelane and then back onto the road to get into the going straight on lane (visious pinch point after the lights) i said goodbye to my buddy on knocklyon road and decide maybe i'll get back onto the cycle lane cos the cars are moving quicker "puncture" destroyed tyre, 20 min walk home. what a lucky nice day.

Nasty day you had there, Neil :(
