nop...the actual play...as in the book.
our english teachers crazy, i know (only joking), but no one has a clue what ta have on it.
we have ta pick a song ta suit a scene and we have ta do 10 scenes.

Have a look at the band HIM, theyd have a fair few songs that could suit the play.

    "Join Me" Is one anyway

Oh right yeah. No I was actually suggesting the song Romeo and Julliet by Dire Straits to use it!

Just take your 10 scenes, pick the main emotion in each of them, then get a typical song which has that emotion strongly in it. Or even if not famous songs, then stuff by bands you like? I'd say the point of the exercise is more about your knowledge of what's going on in the play than your skill in making music compilations, so once you can say, "Well I picked The Romeo and Juliet Overture by Tchaikovsky for the balcony scene because Romeo and Juliet express their love for each other in this scene* and the music is very romantic" you'll be grand. : p

*No idea if that's true. Studied this play for my JC but honestly can't remember anything about the balcony scene except it had a lot of quotes to learn off.

Didnt study the play but I know that the main theme is love so ''My heart'' by Paramore should fit in nicely somewhere..

Juliet's suicide scene: "Heaven Knows I'm Miserable Now," by the Smiths.
