Xbox Live messed up again?

    I'm trying all night to buy a 3 month sub for Live for another account. First time I tried to buy it from Live and I get an error code 8015d080 unable to retrieve data.

    So I bought a code online and tried that and I get the same error message. It registered that the code was for a 3 month sub but it can't process it for some reason.

    I can do anything else on Live fine but I can't buy any subs.

    Ever since the NXE update I seem to get this alot when I try to buy anything from Live.

    Get the finger out M$, NXE has been out a month.

    Try going through xbox.com rather than the 360 itself.

    I've never had a problem, with the 360 or xbox.com.

    what local have you set your new profile to. If you've set up any profile other than UK or Ireland, i.e set up a US profile and try using Irish point or Gold then they don't work. Even using an Irish credit card on a US profile won't work.

    Not saying you did this but its something I tried when HD movies where only available in the US.
